One of the most anticipated films of the year, Liger will mark Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut. The film will also mark Vijay’s first pan-Indian project.
Though the film is slated to release later this month, it has been screened by Liger’s censor board.
According to sources, Liger has received UA certification and the film has a running time of 2 hours and 20 minutes.
According to a report in Bollywood Life, Vijay and Ananya Panday starrer Liger have surprised the censor board. The all-star cast of Liger impressed the board members as they seemed very impressed with Vijay’s performance as Vijay put in a lot of effort in the film and it shows in every frame.
The board also liked Puri Jagannadh’s portrayal of Deverakonda in the film. From his dialogues to his body language, he considered the minute details, including his amazing performances.
According to reports, Ramya Krishna’s character, mother’s feelings as well as the love angle between Vijay-Ananya have been liked by the board and they feel that the film will also include it.
From a technical point of view, the censor board praised Vishnu Sharma for the stunning visuals of the film. Liger’s action choreography of the night also shocked the board. They also loved the background score in Liger.
Censor board members feel that the short running time, action, character development and dialogue will take up a lot of time for the film and will please the public.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh and backed by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, Liger will release in theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on August 25.
