So, here are the tips to boost your confidence

1)    Accept yourself:

Nobody born with a built-in confidence level, it is your surrounding and environment which affects your personality and traits within you. Your surroundings and people around you play a great role in developing and demolishing your personality, confidence, and self-esteem.

A cool environment is needed to keep the ice as ice, in the same way, the environment around you must be confident to keep you a confident person.

Accepting yourself as you are is a remedy of low self-esteem, accept what you are, accept the pros and cons of yourself. It is the only by which you will be able to understand the traits and defects in you, so that, you can improve yourself. Accept the fact that no one is born a superhero. It is you who makes yourself a hero by improving and polishing yourself. Learn to accept your imperfections.

2)  Be fearless

Fear is one of the biggest enemies of confidence and most people are suffering from it when it comes to speaking in public, present and expressing yourself in front of someone, and daily life public communications. Basically, there are two types of fear:

  • Physical fear (like falling from a height or accident that leads to death)
  • Emotional fear (like fear of public speaking)

As far as physical fear is concerned one must be fearful of any type of accident that can lead to a health injury or death but as emotional fear is concerned, one must not be fearful in expressing his/her views or opinions in front of someone and public. It is a kind of fear that can be treated with little guidance and practice. For instance, one must do practice before speaking in front of the public rather than becoming fearful of speaking.

3)  What you think about yourself, only matters

Living a life where other people continuously dictate your self-worth is a heartbreaking situation. Do not let anyone dictate yourself, you are unique in yourself. The only thing that matters is your understanding and perception of yourself, you are what you think about yourself.

“It is up to you to speak in a way that will move you towards your goal”

Your mind controls your body, you become what you think. Always be positive and never let negative people stray around you.

4) Selection or coincidence

Always be selective and decisive in your actions, be a good decision maker and strengthen your decisive powers. It will boost and enhance your confidence level to a great extent. Never be a man with a coincident statement, like someone says that he helped someone by chance or by coincidence. It will result in a lack of self-esteem and confidence, eventually.

5)  Take care of your health

Healthy eating and proper workouts boost hormones like dopamine and endorphins that boost your body’s functioning and mood. It makes you feel fresh and good and stimulates a more confident mood. Researches show that listening and singing your favorite songs daily releases dopamine and serotonin in your body and you feel much delighted and fresh.

Having a cheesy dance in your bedroom, or going for a walk around the park are the best ways to boost your confidence.
